Job Summary The Center for Information Technology at Oberlin College invites applications for the position of Endpoint Support Specialist (Mac & Linux). This is a full-time, 12-month recurring Administrative and Professional (A&PS) staff position, reporting to the Director of IT Support.The Endpoint Support Specialist will be responsible for technical support for MacOS end-user devices and a Linux-based (Ubuntu) desktop computer lab at the College. Apple devices include laptops, desktops, and tablets. The Endpoint Support Specialist will work closely with other IT teams to ensure that end-user devices are properly maintained, configured, and secure. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting endpoints with MacOS, Linux, and possess strong technical and customer service skills. Responsibilities Maintain and provide tier 2 technical support for all Apple devices including laptops, desktops, and tablets.
