Job Overview

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Unity Health Centre, part‑time, temporary. Pay Band: $29,909 to $36,572 per year. Shift: days, nights, evenings, weekends and standby. 168 hours per 6‑week rotation.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager or designated supervisor, the EMT/PCP responds to emergency and non‑emergency events, assesses, treats and transports ill or injured persons in adherence to the Saskatchewan Ambulance Act, the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) Clinical Practice Protocols, the Paramedics Act and related bylaws, and Saskatchewan Health Authority policies, procedures, and work standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
• Licenses: Valid Class 4 driver’s license
• Other Education and Training: International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS), current CPR certification, Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate (BCLS)
