EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST. Responsibilities You will serve as the subject matter expert in the emergency management functions to include policy, procedures, biological, radiological and national incident management system. You will develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency operations plans (EOPs) and other written guidance to support region operations center (ROC) operations to include battle watch operations. You will maintain a current knowledge of mass warning and notification systems and be able to provide system oversight of operations, exercise and maintenance of mass warning and notification systems throughout the region. You will act as the subject matter expert on radio communications systems, defense red switch network capabilities, communications, computer systems, and communications plans and planning.
