Job Description
Join the Simcoe County District School Board as an Elementary Student Mentor this summer, supporting student literacy and mathematics. This temporary position involves working directly with young learners in both in-person and online formats.
We are looking for up to six passionate mentors enrolled in a Bachelor of Education or equivalent program. You will assist elementary-aged students with early reading, mathematics, and the use of assistive technology. Collaborating with educators, you’ll play a vital role in guiding learners toward academic success and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students in individualized learning during summer programs
• Maintain technology and materials for educational activities
• Organize the learning site effectively for optimum engagement
