Joining as an Electronic / Optronic Repair Technician involves repairing equipment assigned by the Weapons and Ancillary Equipment Repair Section Supervisor. The technician’s qualifications and experience must align with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventative, and modification maintenance on optical, optronic, electrical, and electronic systems, as well as assigned ancillary equipment.
• Research and order repair parts.
• Conduct range duties as required.
• Prepare and assist with Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCRs) and Technical Failure Reports (TFRs) for submission to the Control Office.
• Complete personal timesheets.
• Operate and service both trade‑specific and general hand and power tools.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and hazard‑free workspaces and areas.
