Overview

The EMC Engineer will support the electromagnetic compatibility of existing and new railway products in 25KV traction power environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of existing and new railway products with 25KV traction power environments.
• Work closely with teams across the business – signalling, product design and testing – to enforce EMC design rules.
• Lead 25KV immunization activities for signalling equipment.
• Prepare EMC specifications and compliance documentation.
• Perform EMC tests and propose solutions to address EMC challenges.
• Prepare and review EMC test specifications and reports.
• Conduct EMC tests in laboratories and on‑site, and deliver associated reports.
