Job Summary
Maintain physical plant and equipment to ensure 100% production up‑time.
Maintain, perform preventive maintenance (PM), and ensure the robustness of production equipment.
Ensure safety of all manufacturing equipment and facilities in the plant.
Required Education and Experience
- Electrical certificate and minimum 5 years of related work experience
- Good English communication skills (oral and written)
- Thorough knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Good mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- PLC programming/training a definite asset
- Forklift license is an asset
- Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC
Essential Functions
- Preventative maintenance of all production equipment
- Plan, layout, install and repair complex wiring circuits and distribution systems to applicable codes
