Job Description
Job Purpose
The Electrician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in company vehicles and related facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in company vehicles (buses, trucks, tankers, trailers, etc.).
Troubleshoot faults in starters, alternators, batteries, wiring, lighting systems, sensors, and control units.
Install and maintain GPS trackers, fuel monitoring systems, tachographs, cameras, and other electronic devices.
Conduct routine electrical inspections and preventive maintenance for fleet vehicles.
Maintain electrical installations in workshops, depots, offices, and yards.
Repair and service generators, compressors, battery chargers, and workshop electrical tools.
Ensure proper grounding, circuit protection, and compliance with electrical safety standards.
