Job Description
Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical faults in cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles. Inspect, repair, and replace batteries, alternators, starters, wiring, relays, fuses, sensors, and lighting systems. Troubleshoot vehicle electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and testing equipment. Install and repair vehicle accessories, including lights, horns, alarms, cameras, and electrical control units. Diagnose and repair automotive air-conditioning systems. Perform AC gas charging, refrigerant recovery, vacuum testing, and leak detection. Repair or replace AC compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, blowers, hoses, and related components. Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections of electrical and AC systems. Read and understand vehicle electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
