Electrical/Instrumentation Technician

Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp is seeking a vacancy in the Electrical and Instrumentation department. The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician (E/I) works as part of a team that maintains, troubleshoots, and optimizes the electrical and instrumentation and control systems in the mill.

Qualifications:

• Dual trade E/I journeyperson with experience in PLCs, Distributed Control Systems, analytical instruments, variable speed drives, control systems, high voltage systems, etc.
• Single trade Instrumentation or Electrical Journeypersons or Apprentices with enough related experience willing to indenture and acquire the dual trade will be considered.
• Electrical Apprentice/Instrumentation Technologists without a journeyperson ticket if willing to indenture into apprenticeships to acquire dual trade E/I.
• Candidates interested in indenturing in an electrical or instrument trade (internal/external applicants will be considered).
