Job Description
Overview
Under general supervision the Electrical Technician I is responsible for electrica l troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Responsibilities
+ Installs and replaces lightbulbs
+ Perform breaker resets, ballast and electrical wiring
+ Inspects and maintains primary service installations and power distribution systems
+ Follows basic electrical safety practices such as lockout/tagout procedure
+ Completes work orders and paperwork related to job tasks
+ Performs duties in accordance with departmental and regulatory safety procedures and standards
Qualifications
+ HS Diploma or equivlant, Journeyman Elctrician certification is highly preferred
+ Knowledge of predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions
+ Knowledge of electrical machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
