ELECTRICAL SHOP SPEC (SUBSAFE)

Summary You will serve as an ELECTRICAL SHOP SPECIALIST (SUBSAFE) in the Electrical Division (code 950) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will serve as subject matter expert of Electrical Division operations to support the SUBSAFE, DSS-SOC, FBW SCS and REC program. You will advise and instruct mechanics and supervisors on proper methods and procedures to be used to accomplish the work in accordance with SUBSAFE, DSS-SOC, FBW SCS and REC program. You will perform necessary research of technical literature to ensure work performed is accurate and acceptable. You will conduct personal investigations of equipment/systems and consults with manufacturers’ representatives and mechanics for the purpose of collecting information not readily available.
