The Opportunity

The Electrical Safety Officer, reporting to the Operations Leader, Energy, is accountable for maintaining and enhancing public safety by educating the public and industry and ensuring that codes, regulations, and standards of safety are understood and observed. 


Status: Regular, Full-Time, Union
Number of Positions: 1
Pay Grade: 16 (Starting at $50.08 per hour)
Location: Penticton, Oliver, Osoyoos
Reports to: Operations Leader, Energy (Interior)


As an Electrical Safety Officer, you will:

  • Education: educate clients and stakeholders on how to meet safety requirements and provide information on new requirements and trends by creating and/or providing presentations, demonstrations, or individual coaching. e.g., public speaking events like Tech Talks.
