Job Description
Shape the future of electrical operations at BW Gold's Blackwater Mine in British Columbia. This role requires strong leadership in safety and maintenance planning within a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule.
As the Superintendent - Electrical, you will report to the Manager of Fixed Plant Maintenance & Infrastructure. Your focus will be on maintaining the safety and efficiency of electrical and instrumentation systems. With over 7 years of management experience in mining, you will oversee safety compliance and team development while implementing innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement BW Gold's safety standards effectively
• Maintain high availability for electrical equipment
• Develop maintenance and lifecycle management plans
• Manage departmental budgets responsibly
• Mentor and coach electrical staff for improvement
