Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
3+ years’ experience in electrical estimating (commercial/industrial focus/design build projectsStrong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and estimating tools (Accubid preferred).Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and with a team.
Responsibilities:
Review and interpret project plans, specifications and bid documents.Perform comprehensive takeoff for all aspects of electrical construction in accordance with contract documents.Maintain a working knowledge of environmental factors and how to apply them.Maintain a working knowledge of NEC and be able to identify these applications in documents.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with material vendors and sub-contractors.Detail and communicate proposal requests f...
