Electrical Engineer, Senior (Burnaby)

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead large electrical design, build and integration projects
• Act as the electrical lead and manage a program or a project’s electrical design team
• Work with project management teams to ensure work is executed according to budgets and schedule
• Ensure electrical designs meet all appropriate requirements and standards
• Review and approve electrical drawings (as P.Eng)
• Write detailed sub-system requirements as needed
• Serve as the “go to” person in areas of expertise and stay current in those areas
• Provide training to co‑workers as needed
• Author internal technical documents as required
• Assist with creating electrical work packages and budgets
• International travel may be required (up to 8 weeks a year)
• Offshore work may be required

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
