Job Description
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERLOCATION: CEDAR RAPIDS, IASALARY: $75,000-$90,000/YEAR ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems for HVAC manufacturing equipment Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs (bill of materials) Use tools like AutoCAD Electrical for layouts and documentation Select and size electrical components (motors, controls, wiring, etc.) Test and validate designs (DVP&R, troubleshooting, debugging) Work with PLC systems and automation controls (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) Ensure compliance with codes (UL, CSA, NEC, IEC safety standards) Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Entry–mid level: 0–5 years experience Senior roles: 5–7+ years experience Skills in: CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) PLC programming and automation Electrical standards and safety codes ...
