Electrical Designer

Job Summary

Working collaboratively with a diverse team of individuals to develop innovative and sustainable designs. Within a dynamic design team, the Electrical Designer I plays a fundamental role in the detailed design and production of electrical building systems, including lighting, low voltage, life safety, and control systems for various building types and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design and production of electrical building systems.
• Set up 2D drawings, support 3D building models, draft electrical layouts, and assist with basic design calculations.
• Coordinate with the design team, equipment suppliers, and constructors to assemble complete design packages for client submission.
• Provide production assistance to the Design Staff: set up AutoCAD/REVIT drawing files, digitize and clean up working drawings, support LV, life safety, control, and lighting schematic design layout and design under superv...
