Electrical Designer, Mining
Locations: St. Johns, NL; Brampton, ON; Sudbury, ON; North Bay, ON
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the lead engineer and staff designers to design and draft accurate drawing packages
- Electrical drafting: single‑line diagrams, three‑line diagrams, grounding plans, wiring, schematics, AC/DC wiring systems, loop diagrams, plan views and elevation/section drawings
- Assist the lead engineer in the design of power and lighting layouts, circuiting, fire alarm, automation & control, instrumentation and electrical details
- Draft in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or Revit environments
- Plot, scan and issue project drawing and documentation packages
- Support multiple projects, client deadlines and deliverables

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy industrial design and layout, preferably in an EPCM environment
