This role emphasizes collaboration with classroom teachers to enhance literacy and student outcomes. Acting as a facilitator and trusted guide, you will engage deeply with students and their families, reflecting the educational values of the local culture while fostering resilience and adaptiveness in learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor teachers through classroom observation and coaching
• Implement effective literacy instruction methods
• Collaborate with community to improve student experiences
• Build and maintain respectful relationships with students
• Adapt teaching methodologies per local cultural contexts
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education degree
• Three years classroom teaching experience required
• Valid teaching certification in Nunavut
