Cell Press is launching a prestigious field‑shaping new journal to serve biotechnology researchers. This full‑time editorial position will lead the launch and ongoing growth of the journal, shaping its editorial vision and coordinating a high‑quality peer review process.
Responsibilities
- Define the aims, scope, and formats for the journal, developing a broad, impactful, contemporary, and cohesive publication.
- Leverage an extensive network of leading researchers to attract world‑leading article submissions.
- Travel extensively to engage with the research community by attending conferences and visiting research institutes.
- Recruit and manage an in‑house editorial team, coordinating rigorous evaluation of submissions to ensure the highest quality and value of the journal.
