Your new role
We are currently seeking an Ecologist to support a major highways infrastructure project, carrying out nesting bird checks and surveys to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and best practice guidance.
In this role, you will undertake pre-construction nesting bird surveys, complete habitat and vegetation assessments, identify active nests, and provide ecological advice to site teams. You will liaise closely with contractors and project stakeholders, helping to ensure works are delivered in line with ecological constraints while maintaining project programmes.
