EAL Teaching Assistant

Job Details

We are recruiting a full-time Secondary Teaching Assistant to support pupils with English as an additional language, starting in September at a secondary school in North Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom.


• Provide one‑to‑one and small group support to students who speak Arabic as a first language.


• Assist in preparing resources and maintaining a positive learning environment.


• Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fluent in Arabic (desirable).


• Hold a TEFL qualification.


• Previous experience working in a UK school (desirable).


• Experience working with young people in either a voluntary or professional capacity (desirable).
