Drywaller – Job Summary
Install and finish drywall for residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and preparing surfaces for paint. Work on new builds, renovations, and tenant build-outs using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels
- Read blueprints and follow layout plans
- Tape, mud, sand, and finish seams for smooth surfaces
- Install corner beads and framing components
- Perform drywall repairs and patching
- Assist with general construction tasks (framing, demo, prep)
- Maintain safe, clean work areas
- Work with a small team and travel to job sites
Requirements
- 1+ year construction or general labor experience
- Basic tool skills (hand and power tools)
