Duties

• Operate commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery schedules are met
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues
• Secure freight properly using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, or tarps
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Assist with loading and unloading freight using forklift or other heavy equipment as needed
• Conduct basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
