About the role:
Aurizon is seeking a dedicated Driver Trainer to join our Jilalan depot. Be instrumental in the in the success of Australia’s largest rail freight operator and perform an integral role to contribute to the continued success of our Coal business in the Goonyella system. This role will see you provide mentoring and coaching to both Trainee & Qualified Locomotive Drivers within competency-based frameworks to safely drive a train to meet business objectives.
- Motivating, instructing, mentoring, coaching and assessing drivers.
- Develop a supportive relationship with train drivers and support the training program objectives.
