JOB SUMMARY
The Driver is responsible for safe and timely pickup and delivery of vehicles within Canada. Duties include vehicle inspections; loading and offloading car carrier; timely and accurate completion of daily logs, fuel, mileage and run sheets, while providing exceptional customer service at all times.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload cars, trucks and vans as required.
- Responsible for pickups and deliveries through the designated locations (local, inter-provincial).
- Prepare condition reports and verify orders for accuracy, ensure the client has signed all electronic applications or necessary documents.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.
- Report to Dispatch on a daily basis for loads and instructions, maintain regular communication with Dispatch to ensure that customer needs are met.
