Drayman / Collection Driver

Summary

The Drayman / Collection Driver is responsible for the collection and return of empty kegs and casks from pubs, bars, restaurants, and other hospitality venues. The role is customer‑facing, involving manual handling, and accurate tracking of returned containers. The Drayman represents the company professionally at all collection points and plays a key role in asset recovery and circulation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect/deliver kegs and casks from pubs, bars, restaurants, and hospitality customers
• Safely load and secure empties onto the vehicle, following manual handling and health & safety procedures
• Follow efficient collection routes to maximise daily pickups
• Ensure accurate counting and recording of collected kegs and casks
• Obtain customer confirmations where required and complete return documentation
• Transport empties back to the brewery, depot, or keg‑management facility
