GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the general supervision, drafts designs utilizing computer-aided drafting systems to prepare drawings and designs. Drawings are used to obtain work permits and to illustrate construction methods or materials and fabrication direction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drafts and produces shop drawings for in-house or outside vendors to illustrate signage or other structure fabricationConverses with engineers and other subject matter experts to interpret design concepts, determine nature and type of required detailedCreates router files for the Layout DepartmentAssists in identifying trouble areas and providing necessary fixes to ensure the manufacturing or installation processes are not impededResearches and recommends new materials and hardware for use on signage or other structures
