Elk Valley Resources (EVR) operates four steelmaking coal mines that employ over 5,000 people in the Elk Valley of British Columbia.
About the role
Reporting to the Pit Supervisor, the Dozer/Grader Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of D10/D11 Dozers and 16M/24M Graders, as well as providing operational support in an open‑pit coal mine.
The position is site‑based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C. is necessary.
Schedule
4x4 shift rotation consisting of days and nights.
Responsibilities
- Operate a D10 and D11 Dozer/16M and 24M Grader in a safe and efficient manner on a 4x4 12‑hour shift rotation.
- Operate in all weather conditions including rain, fog, and winter conditions.
