As a Door Glazier your working hours and days are:
- Monday- Friday
- Monday- Thursday 07:00- 16:30
- Friday 07:00- 15:30
The rate of pay as a Door Glazier is:
- £13.00 p/h
The duties and responsibilities as a Door Glazier are:
- Install glass panes
- Fit residential doors
- Fit commercial doors
- Cut glass to size
- Remove old glass safely
- Apply sealants and putties
- Check alignments and seals
- Follow all health and safety procedures
The ideal candidate for a Door Glazier would need:
- Experience in glass installation
- Skills with hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong physical fitness level (lots of heavy lifting)
- Valid drivers licence required
- Great attention to detail
