Job Description
**Overview**
Log in and store quarantine Donated Human Tissue in designated area(s). Inspect and ship tissue as per disposition to appropriate processing facility. Work with processing and planning departments to ensure adequate queue of tissue for production. Handle rejected/research tissue including shipments to internal and external customers. Perform physical inventories and general freezer maintenance on a scheduled basis. Receipt of items into QAD including lot/serial number. Proper handling of PRH “Hold” tissue request(s). Responsible for Medical Waste tracking of all boxes shipped off site for incineration including record retention. Maintain accurate inventory of tissue(s) in the RM Quarantine Freezer, WIP Freezers, Re-work, Research, PRH and In-transit locations.
Must be available for after hours on call rotation including weekend and holidays throughout the year in the event of a freezer failure. Assist on specials projects and perform additional duties as ...
