Overview
The role involves coordinating and managing the safe and efficient receipt, handling, production, and distribution of products. It ensures compliance with safety standards and manages safety, quality, inventory, fleet, staff development, engineering, and housekeeping to meet targets. The position leads a team of operators, material handlers, and clerks, ensuring quality standards, inventory accuracy, and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in operations, or a recognized qualification in Production Supervision and Management, Logistics or Operations Management
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing or logistics
- 3 to 5 years supervisory or managerial experience
