Job Description

DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE – DAILY DESK
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Person in this position will pick and pack orders for daily shipment to customer. They will display the ability to work closely with others and as a team. Responsibilities listed below cover some of the significant duties performed, but do not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned.
Obtain pick tickets from the daily desk and or Shipping Clerk, prioritizes them based on ship date and carrier
Pulls and Pack bulk material for Regional Distribution Centers
Coordinates daily shipments with customer services
Pulls and assembles hardware, trough, and wire products according to customer’s order.
Packages material into boxes and onto skids.
Scans all material with a scan gun to verify accuracy and completeness
Affixes appropriate labels and packing lists.
Prepares appropriate shipping documents
