We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join our small but busy GP Dispensing Practice in Burbage, near Marlborough, Wiltshire. We are part of the East Kennet Primary Care Network and work closely with other local surgeries to deliver excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Dispensing repeat and acute medication using SystmOne (with built‑in scanner, second checker)
- Ordering, putting away and maintaining stock levels
- Processing repeat prescription requests
- Dealing with patient medication queries at the front desk or on the telephone
- Adhering to SOPs regarding controlled drugs
- Liaising with GPs, nurses and clinical pharmacists
- Ordering via phone or e‑mail with our appliance contractor
