Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries. They are looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to join their Johannesburg team. This position is for their afternoon shift from 14:00 to 23:00.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ROUTINE TASKS

• Maintain workflow by motivating drivers and vehicle loading assistants to work fast and correctly.
• Check that drivers and vehicle loading assistants are at work and report absentees timeously to Dispatch manager.
• Ensure that drivers and vehicle loading assistants plus you are wearing clean undamaged protective clothing as per company policy.
