Dispatch Planner - 1 Year Contract (Balzac)

The Role: XTL Transport Inc. is currently seeking a highly organized and results‑driven Planner / Dispatcher to support our City & Local Operations.

Shift: 4on/4off 5am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch & Planning: Plan all city, local cartage, and overflow highway loads. Assign and confirm loads with drivers; ensure pre‑plans are sent at all times. Manage relays, load trades, and routing to minimize cartage costs. Monitor road and weather conditions and communicate impacts to drivers and Driver Managers. Track & trace drivers to ensure on‑time pickups and deliveries.
• Operational Performance & Cost Control: Manage driver productivity and maintain accurate dispatch status. Control city driver overtime and ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
