Job Description
Plan and coordinate timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues such as delays or route changes promptly Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery operations Manage and train a team of dispatchers to meet job demands efficiently Monitor driver and vehicle performance, implementing measures to improve efficiency and safety Analyze delivery data and recommend process and route improvements Ensure compliance with health, safety, transportation, and environmental regulations Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records and prepare reports for management and stakeholders Demonstrate a strong understanding of transportation logistics and delivery processes
