Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all dishwashing duties including sorting, pre-washing, providing pre-soak solution and bins, loading and unloading dishwashers, and proper storage of flatware, glassware, plateware, kitchen utensils, and cookingware.
- Clean kitchen equipment such as sinks, stoves, fridges, and other appliances.
- Ensure the kitchen floor remains clean and dry at all times.
- Remove garbage and recycling to appropriate bins as needed.
- Unload pop, food, and other items and carry them to properly assigned storage areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
- During non-dishwashing duty periods, support the line cook team with food preparation or line production duties.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
