Tasks
 Manage and oversee daily activities related to general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, financial variances, and forecasting.
 Approve monthly journal entries within required deadlines.
 Analyze general ledger balances and produce monthly financial reports.
 Contribute to the “Life of Mine” process.
 Manage and coordinate annual budget planning and periodic revisions.
 Manage the quarterly forecasting process.
 Respond to financial requests from head office.
 Develop and maintain financial performance tracking tools.
 Establish and apply accounting methods, policies, and principles.
 Ensure compliance with tax obligations.
 Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements.
 Improve administrative processes and internal controls.
 Manage tax files and records.
