Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) provides acute and ambulatory health‑care services to communities along Ontario’s western James Bay and Hudson Bay coasts. WAHA serves more than 12,000 people through hospitals in Moose Factory, Fort Albany, and Attawapiskat, as well as a health centre in Moosonee. The organization also delivers regional outpatient programs and paramedicine services throughout the region, including Kashechewan and Peawanuck. WAHA is affiliated with Queen’s University, supporting clinical excellence, education, and research in northern and Indigenous health. Applicants will join a mission‑driven organization focused on community‑based, culturally safe care in remote and northern environments.
