JOB SUMMARY:
The Director - Clinical Engineering directs, coordinates and governs all functions related to the planning, assessment, development, deployment and maintenance of all biomedical and Research equipment as well as integration of biomedical equipment with Sidra’s EMR system. Also responsible for managing the Sidra’s Nurse-Call and Real Time Location System RTLS. Acts as the leader in the management of medical equipment technology and related technical training programs for technical staff in regards to equipment operations, standards and maintenance. Responsible for developing Sidra’s Medical Equipment Management Plan and the organizational policies and procedures related to medical equipment at Sidra. Responsible for providing quality and timely support by planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating the activities of the Biomedical Engineering division within the framework of existing policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
