What is the Opportunity?
The Director, Business Development will lead Aecon’s expansion in the United States, driving growth across the heavy civil infrastructure sector. This role is accountable for building and executing pursuit strategies to secure large-scale, complex projects through early positioning, strategic partnerships, and disciplined capture management.
What You'll Do Here:
Lead the development and execution of U.S. market growth strategy, targeting priority heavy civil sectors including bridges, highways, transit systems, and water infrastructure.

Identify, shape, and pursue major infrastructure opportunities, focusing on $300M–$2B+ projects.

Direct market research efforts to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and regulatory shifts in the U.S. infrastructure sector.
