Directional Drill Locator- CDL

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Directional Drill Locator to support horizontal directional drilling (HDD) operations for telecom and utility construction projects. This individual will be responsible for tracking and guiding the drill head underground using specialized locator equipment to ensure alignment with project plans and avoid existing utilities. The Locator will work closely with the drill operator to provide real-time feedback on depth, pitch, and direction, ensuring safe and efficient bore paths. This role requires strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and the ability to operate in fast-paced outdoor environments. Candidates should be comfortable troubleshooting signal interference and adjusting drill paths as needed. Prior experience in HDD operations and underground utility work is highly preferred.
