Description
The Casey’s Place Direct Support Professional have the primary responsibility of providing a safe and secure environment for each individual. Each DSP must work closely with other staff including Program Manager, Team Lead, Nursing Staff and other administrators in order to meet the needs of the individuals.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide constant supervision and safety of the children.
+ Complete adequate and necessary documentation during the shift, including reading and signing all necessary documentation, thoroughly and on time.
+ Assist in creating a safe and secure environment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of equipment etc.
+ Promote independent living skills, meal prep and restocking of supplies (if necessary).
