Dining Kitchen Staff

A Kitchen Helper (or Kitchen Assistant)supports chefs and waitstaff by performing essential cleaning, sanitation, and basic food preparation tasks to ensure efficient, safe restaurant operations. Key duties include washing dishes, peeling/cutting ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, organizing inventory, and removing waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation : Washing, peeling, cutting, and sorting fruits and vegetables.
• Cleaning & Sanitation : Operating dishwashers, scrubbing pots/pans, and sanitizing food preparation areas.
• Kitchen Support : Assisting cooks with basic tasks, plating, and stocking workstations.
• Maintenance : Sweeping, mopping, taking out garbage, and maintaining general hygiene.
