Job Description
Oxfam seeks a Digital Media Archivist Advisor for a 12-month mandate in Dakar, Senegal. Play a key role in enhancing digital asset management and supporting gender equality initiatives across Africa.
As the Digital Assets Management Advisor, you will collaborate with Oxfam content leads in Africa and Latin America. Your primary responsibilities include uploading digital assets into the INURU library, enhancing metadata, and training local teams on content uploads. This position emphasizes ethical standards and seeks to preserve valuable cultural resources to support vulnerable communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Upload digital assets from Africa and Latin America to INURU
• Organize and enhance metadata following specified guidelines
• Train local uploaders on asset management and content submission
• Flag system issues for future INURU development
• Ensure all assets meet quality and ethical standards
Requirements:
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident
