Richmond Community Services, a leading nonprofit provider of support services for the disability community, is seeking a Dietary Aide for our Yonkers Intermediate Care Facility (ICF).
JOB SUMMARY: Prepare and set-up meals, desserts, salads, nourishments, snacks and school lunches for staff and/or individuals of the facility. Responsible for general sanitary upkeep of kitchen area.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
+ Prepares steam table by filling the unit with hot water. This requires manual dexterity to turn the faucets on and off. Ignites burners beneath the table by bending and stooping to floor level and reaching full arm length to activate the burners (by striking a match).
+ Transports food trucks by walking, pushing/pulling a loaded cart weighing up to 60 lbs to and from the Team Units via the elevator throughout the facility. In cases wh...
