Oakley Tractor Technicians work in a professional environment focused on working as a team to diagnose and repair our fleet of class 8 Volvo Tractors, auxiliary power units and other various equipment related to the tractor.
Essential Functions:
Diagnose and repair all aspects of class 8 tractors including but not limited to Volvo and Mack. Keep a clean and neat work area. Continue to keep up to date on tractor repair procedures. Assist each other with a team attitude. Work on truck in and out of shop atmosphere (road calls) Handle driver concerns with a team. Diagnose and repair APU problem. Diagnose and repair Hydraulic problem. Charge out parts as needed. Tag parts for warranty and cores as needed. Write repair stories for warranty and all other repairs.
