Requirements: National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4 Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic 5 Years post-trade experience as a Diesel Mechanic Experience in managing and supervision of a team Experience in maintaining forklifts, tractors and trucks (preferrable MAN Trucks) Code 14 driver''s license would be advantagous Must be Afrikaans speaking Abilities, competencies and knowledge: Resilience Ability to work under pressure Prioritising Attention to detail Persistence Results orientated Duties and responsbilities: General overseeing of workshop by ensuring assignment of tasks according to required deadlines Ensure Mechanics complete tasks efficiently Ensure job cars are completed and submitted according to deadlines Conduct daily breakdown repairs on light and heavy equipment Conduct scheduled routine preventative maintenance and services on light and heavy equipment
